Besakih Temple Tour, Spiritual Journey.

Besakih Tour Is really great tour to see the biggest temple in Bali, this tour is about spiritual, nature, and history.

What the Place of interest that we can see during this tour? Let’s explore the adventure, first we will go to Klungkung regency to visit ;

1.  Kertha Gosa

Kertha Gosa is located in the heart of Klungkung city, the name of kertha Gosa was taken from the word Kertha that mean prosperity, wealth, or peace, and gosa it’s mean telling, so Kertha Gosa mean the place that telling about fair and justice to live into a prosperity and peace.

Kertha Gosa was made in 18 century, but at the 20 century has a lot of change.

The unique part of Kertha Gosa is the Classic traditional paintings that original from Kamasan village that located in Klungkung regency also that decorated on the bottom of the roof of the building.  

Over there you can see the floating Bale or “Bale kambang” that name is Taman Gili, you can see temple and museum.

The building that they use for made decision for Justice, was really unique, on the paintings you can see the story of the spirit journey of people after they die, and the illustration story of what punishment that they get after they do bad things on their life.

The museum was also nice, with a lot of story when Indonesia and Bali was still under attack by Dutch colonial.

OK, after you see Kertha Gosa than we continue the tour to visit the next place of interest that is called;

2.  Bukit Jambul

Bukit Jambul is mean a Hill with “Jambul” or Tiara, the Tiara that they mean is the Big tree that located on that Hill, on the under of that tree is have a Temple. But is no one’s go to that temple, people only like to see the beautiful rice terrace on the hill area and the view from the high was so awesome, was so nice background when we take pictures from that hill area.

3. Local Restaurant for Lunch.

On this area we just stop a while to take some great pictures, and after that we will continue the trip to go to the breathtaking views of Rice terraces that located in the bottom of Mt. Agung, while watching this rice terrace we can relax and enjoy our lunch or maybe drink coffee or tea at the restaurant before we continue to the main Tour, Besakih temple.

Finnaly, after lunch and relax we will continue the tour about 30 minutes from the restaurant is the located of Basakih temple.

4.  Besakih Temple

  Besakih Temple is the mother temple in Bali, the Biggest and the most important; the located is in Besakih village, at Karangasem regency, the temple located in the bottom of Mt. Agung, the highest mountain in Bali, and this Volcano was still active until now, was ever have a big explosion in 1963.

The word of Besakih was taken from the ancient word “Basuki” that mean “Safe”, but inside the ancient book or we call it “ lontar “ ( the book was written on palm leaf with Sanskrit language it is really great because they written with knife, not with pen or pencil ) the word Besakih was the name of the Dragon that became a guard in the Mt. Agung.

The megalithic artifact like; Menhir, structure of pyramid terraces, stone chair, and some ancient statues, was founded on Besakih area, so on the predicted Besakih was came from really ancient era, it is far from influences of Hindu religion.

Over there, we can buy "Canang" (simple offering that contain with flowers) to pray in the temple, the Aura or the spirit in this temple was so peacefully, I hope you can find your inner peace in this temple, and if you make a wishes , I hope all your wishes will be come true.

Singaraja Tour, Tour To The North Side Of Bali.

Singaraja is located on the north side of Bali Island,Singaraja  is made by two words, Singa and Raja, Singa mean “ Lion “ and Raja mean “ King “ so, Singaraja Mean Lion King. Now I tell you about what that you can see in Singaraja that located in Buleleng Regency, before, Buleleng are the old capital city of Bali.Place of Interest in Singaraja Tour:

1. Twin Lake

What I mean about this twin Lake is the lake of Buyan and Tamblingan, that we can see both of it from the top, the size of this lake is 3,9 km square for Buyan lake, and 1,9 km square for Tamblingan lake, there is really nice to see from the side of the road to Munduk Village, it is good for you to have a Panoramic mode from your camera to capture two of this lake from the top.Next stop after see this lake; you can go to see;

2. Gitgit Waterfall




Make Your Eyes Open, and see the Big energy of the Waterfall that energizing you when you go closer to the water, Really Big and high, the high is about 35 meters and flow with constantly volume of debit of the water, with green plantations on the both side of the waterfall, make Gitgit waterfall was a great beautiful waterfall.On the front of this waterfall, you can see temple with two Dragon statue that wrapped by black and white sarong, the purpose is to balancing the energy surrounds, it have also Big stone that they wrapped by sarong, that was sacred big stone that protected by the people from there.After you take great pictures and also taste the cool blast from the waterfall, on the way you back to the parking area, it is good for you to relax and buy Fruit Juice that really fresh in there.Ok, next trip is time to having lunch; the trip will continue to the Restaurant that really good in Lovina area, over there you can eat as much as you want at the buffet restaurant.

3. Lovina Beach



While you eat, you will see the beautiful panoramic at the Lovina beach.The word of Lovina is made by two words, there is Love and Ina, is mean Love Indonesia.In Lovina beach you can see the Dolphin in the morning, many tourist go to Lovina Beach and stay for a day over there to see Dolphin in the morning on next day.Ok, continue to your one day trip to Singaraja, now after lunch, we will go to visit the Buddhist temple the name is;

4. Brahma Vihara Arama,



This Buddhist temple is so Beautiful, with a lot of Buddhist Statue was so great, and replica of Borobudur Temple (the Biggest Buddhist temple in the world that located in Central Java)It is very nice Temple, for you who want to pray in this Buddhist Temple is Good, the place so nice and peacefully.Ok, finally after we visit to Buddhist temple, we will relax in the Hot water pool that located at the Banjar Village, the name is Hot Water Banjar.

5. Hot Water Banjar

This Hot Water Pool the age is predicted already Hundreds of year, the pool was made when the Japanese colonials in Indonesia and include Bali,This hot water pool that contains of sulfur will make your skin smooth and nice, and will healing disease, especially skin disease.You must bring a change clothes when you want to go swimming and Bath on this Pool, the most interesting that have in this Pool area is, the massage fountain, it have a three fountain that about 3,5 meters high that will massage your shoulder with hot water, this is very cool, and when you have a skin disease, you go to the pool on the top, that the water condition is the hottest.

Karangasem Tour, Tour To The East Part Of Bali.

Karangasem Tour.

Hello Readers, how are you today? I hope everything and everyone is fine.

Now, I will tell you the information about place of interest in the east part of Bali, that is Called Karangasem Regency, what is interesting in this regency? Let’s  find out,

 1. Goa Lawah or Bat Cave Temple.

First, when we go to Karangasem from Denpasar, we will pass “Bat Cave” Temple, but Bat Cave temple is part of Klungkung Regency not Karangasem regency, but because we pass it on the way, it is good also we will see it, this is the picture for that temple.

Bat cave Temple or Goa Lawah, is located at Klungkung regency, the temple location is on the cliff of a lime stone of the hill that called, Bukit tengah, in this cave, you can see Thousands of Bat, and also some snake like phyton that is on the small cave on the top, was a unique views, and also look sacred. This temple was build in 11 century, it was predicted was build in the era of King of Anak Wungsu by Mpu Kuturan. And on the front of this temple you can see beautiful beach that is used by Balinese Hindu to do a Holy ceremony that called Melasti Ceremony.

The Spirit feel like really peace when you enter this temple from the north side, you will see two big tree that really look like a couple, because the size is nearly same, and when you entering the temple please remember to keep your minds, words and your attitude to do not do any negative things.

The function is to make the aura or the spirit in the temple keep good and peace.

After seeing Bat Cave Temple, You can see the next place of interest that located in Karangasem regency is called,

 2. Tenganan Village

Tenganan Village is an old village, the traditions of the Old Balinese or we called Bali aga, this village was predicted was build on 14 century, the village is look still like what it was even until right now that already on 21 century, the wall of the house was made by Mud, and the pet animals was wild walking through the village area, it was funny, when you visiting this village, you will see cows, swan, goose, chicken, duck, Cock etc was walking wild, so be carefully with your steps ..to do not steps on the shit of any kind of this pet. ! hahah..

In this Village also you can see the art of their professional hand weaver, hand weaving scarf or bag or sarong, you can find here so good and original traditional, and you also find so many painter that paint on Palm leaf, they write or draw some character of Hindu God and Something old like calendar or many ancient symbols on the top of palm leaf, and they draw it by small knife, Interesting !

Ok, after all of you take some great pictures in Tenganan Village; we will go to the next trip, to visit 

3.Candidasa Village.

  

This Beautiful beach is really look good to relax while we enjoy our lunch time at the restaurant and with the spectacular view of Candidasa beach, this place is close to Tenganan Village, this Place was build in 12 century on the Jayapangus kingdom era. Small Island inside the beach is look like a train, beautiful.

After Having Lunch, we will continue the trip to the next place of Interest in the east part of Bali, there is a beautiful place called,

 4. Tirta Gangga

The word Tirta Gangga is made from two words Tirta and Gangga. Tirta is mean Holy water and Gangga is mean one of the Holy River in India, Gangga River.

Tirta Gangga Park was build in 1948 by the King from Karangasem.

This Water park is really good for you to have a Holy bath on their natural pool , the water is crystal clear and cool, that will make you feel fresh.

The area of Tirta Gangga park also very nice, a lot of trees and beautiful kind of pool that they made.

After Visiting Tirta Gangga Park, we can stop in some places that have beautiful rice fields panorama, and after that we can continue to the Place that Called,

 5.Taman Sukasada or Taman Ujung.

“ Kadi agni ring pahoman, dumilah mangde suka ikang rat “  That mean : “ Like fire that lighting on the Incense Stick, hope that can give a bright light that will make the world shine bright and full of happiness.”

That is the sentence that write on Lontar or Book of Ramayana , that motivated the King of karangasem to Build this Water palace, this park was build in 1909.

This Park was famous in 1920, tourist who visited Bali on that time definitely will visit this park, because so nice view from the building.

The style of the building is European style; a lot of people right now visit this place to do a pre wedding pictures, because all the building look so unique in Bali.

I am a Balinese, originally from Gianyar Regency, and already became a Tour Guide from 2008.

First, I will tell you about Bali Island and Indonesia, Bali Island Is one ( 1 ) of 13.000 Islands of Indonesia, Indonesia Is the Biggest Archipellago in the world. 

Indonesia is called Nusantara Long Time ago, and Indonesia is underline of equator line, have a tropical climate, and part of the ring of fire, that make Indonesia have a lot of volcanos.

Bali island size, is about 5600 km square, and Bali Island have four 

Island, the main Island, the second and the third is called Nusa Penida and Nusa lembongan, and the fourth Island is Called Menjangan Island, menjangan is mean Deer, a lot of deer on this island.

Bali Have about 3,5 million population, and 90% of the population is Hindu religion,

Bali Have Two Volcano and still active, that is Called Agung and Batur volcano. and four lake.

Bali Island have about 3000 temples, thats why Bali also called the Island Of a Thousands temple.

So Many Temple was So Unique, and Old, every place of interest in Bali, is always have a temple.
